The Back From Tucson Jewellery, Gem & Mineral Fair is on THIS WEEKEND!

Being held at the Turramurra Masonic Hall on the Pacific Highway Turramurra.

I have just finished processing all the new stock and got it loaded ready to set up for tomorrow. I know that both Glen and Rachelle have been just as busy getting their stock ready for you to.

Come on in and say gidday, have a look & have a chat!

Entry is free and there will be a cuppa there if you want one, you just have to make it yourself!

Carlingford Gem & Mineral Fair!

Hello All!
Its August already .. wow time flies. Its time for the annual Gem & Mineral Fair at Carlingford.

The venue is The Roselea Community Centre located at 645 Pennant Hills Road Carlingford,

We will be opening the doors at 9:30 am each day and closing at 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.

There will be lots of traders at the fair with all those nice trinkets you love as well as some serious minerals, fossils and meteorites. Also some quite curios collectables.

This year we will be joined by Stephanie Jones a Henna Art graphic design, We watched her work at another function and it is amazing.

There will also be a number of new faces as well as the old ones too!

On sale there will be Jewellery, Gemstones, Beads, Opals, Gem rough, Carvings, Fossils, Findings, Mineral specimens from all over the world, Metaphysical & Healing Crystals. At this Fair there will be dealers with all the gems and minerals you could wish for and perhaps then some!

The guys from The Museum of Comparative Zoology will be displaying their work. They will have a rather large replica fossil on display. I am wondering what it will be this year. Its always a great surprise.

Two of the local lapidary clubs will also be represented, The Northern Districts Lapidary Club as well as The Parramatta Holroyd lapidary Club. They will be there to entice you into learning how to make those wonderful stones jump!

The Mineralogical Society will also be there with some minerals on display as well as a very powerful microscope for you to look down. You will be able to see some amazing crystals that you never would have known about.

Entry to the Fair is $7 for adults and kids, with their parent/s (or guardian), get in for free. The Kids Quiz which is always fun for them to do .. will be on again. They will learn stuff about rocks minerals jewellery and the natural world without even knowing they’re doing it.

The Roselea Community Centre has gone through a major renovation and it now a really enticing place. Troy, our caterer, is looking forward to serving up some great food, coffee, tea and cakes!

So why not come along and see for yourself. Bring some friends and make a day of it, show them some of the wonderful things nature has to show for itself.

Windsor Gem & Mineral Fair

Windsor Gem & Mineral Fair
Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th June

Hello everyone,

Winter is just around the corner so its time for the Windsor Gem and Mineral Fair

The Fair is being held at:

The Windsor Function Centre. On the corner of George Street & Dight Street Windsor.

The Hawkesbury Valley Lapidary Club and I invite you all to come and have a look at our event. Opening at 9:30am each day closes at 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.

On sale there will be Jewellery, Gemstones, Beads, Opals, Gem rough, Carvings, Fossils, Findings, Mineral specimens from all over the world, Metaphysical & Healing Crystals. At this Fair there will be dealers with all the gems and minerals you could wish for and perhaps then some!

Entry fees are Adults $7.00 and all kids (under 18) with their parents are free, plus they get to do the kids quiz and win a prize!

Bring some friends with you .. Help us make this our biggest event EVER!

The kids craft corner was a great success last year so it will be back. It is up on the stage where they can make some simple jewellery right then and there! There is a token cost for this activity

The Hawkesbury Valley Lapidary Club will also be doing demonstrations of Faceting, Wire Wrapping and Hand Made Jewellery all up on the stage!

As always there will be light refreshments available from The Windsor Function Centre and off course we will be having our Lucky Door Prize as well. It will be drawn at 3:30pm on the Sunday!
